Millennium approach to System Engineering is to apply a robust SE that balances total system performance and total ownership cost. We develop and implement System Engineering Plan (SEP) that includes peer reviews, informal inspections, formal inspections, reviews and audits (Preliminary Design Reviews, Critical Design Reviews, Subsystem Reviews, Software Specification Reviews, Test Readiness Reviews, Functional Reviews, and In Process Reviews), IV&V, and Developmental and Operational Testing prior to fielding/implementation. We understand that a Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) is the cornerstone of effective project planning, execution, controlling, and reporting. Our professional staff will use tools like scope statements to assist in identifying project resources. This tool includes information such as project’s goals, time-frame period and deliverables, which aids in the determination of resources required within the scope of the project. Using the fundamentals of resource identification, we will then estimate and manage project costs and budgeting activities. Using the Work Breakdown Structure (WBS), we will organize and break down the modernization project into logical subdivisions or subprojects at lower and lower levels of details.
